Last night Philip and I attended a murder mystery dinner (entitled Brie, The Bullet and The Black Cat) at Jim & Bea Fishback's house (our Campus Crusade small group leaders). It was SO much fun. Jim & Bea's house was perfect for the occasion as it is actually an old English pub that is converted into a residence. There ambiance and character abounded as we spent the evening together in their house. The story was set in post WWII France. It was a wonderful evening of laughter with some of our dear friends. One of the attendees is an agent, so the prior investigative experience came in handy (we all laughed this individual took detailed notes throughout the entire evening whenever anyone spoke). Our roles were as follows:
(PHIL) Kirk Ramson III You are an American in your late-30s, a doomed romantic hero, nursing a broken heart and a bottle of whiskey. You run Kirk's African Cafe in downtown Casablanca.
(JOY) Ingrid Pith You are a Danish art-dealer, specializing in finding paintings from all over occupied Europe. You are very busty and flirtatious. *not much I could do to give me any points on the voluptious scale though. . .*

Right - our host and hostess, the Deputy Mayor of Casablanca, Monsieur Le Grandbutte and his beautiful bride "Edith"
Left - Matt & Jana - a Nazi and Russian Countess, respectively. . . (Matt had to to go back to base at one point in the evening because he wanted to greet and welcome home one of his troops coming back from a deployment so he naturally had to soften the pro-Hitler look)
Today has been a laid back Saturday. Philip started work on his econ paper about homogeneity and entrepreneurial culture in Mexico, and I did some studying and paper prep for a project I want to get done with for my ethics class this next week.
