Since Philip didn't quite have the energy for a weekend of hiking in Whales, we decided to go to the east coast instead. We still wanted to get out and explore (and enjoy the incredible sunshine that we've been blessed with) after church, so Philip picked a spot on a map, we plugged it into the TomTom and drove.

Hunstanton (prounounced hunt-ston) was about an hour north. It was beautiful. We walked along the beach. We could definately feel the difference in the air temperature as we approached the edge of the island. There's a cool lighthouse in this area that we drove by, and we also came across a boat that was washed ashore that was pretty cool.

Traffic was bad coming back home, so Philip decided to take back roads the whole way. It was SO GREAT. We went through tons of charming little villages that were very unique. One of my favorite things about the day was having the windows down and sunroof open the whole drive home and being able to smell the lilacs along the road as we drove. Mmmmm. . .
