shots

My baby got his shots today. Poor guy. They jabbed him all at once for small pox, H1N1, flu, typhoid, and Anthrax (in addition to having blood drawn for an HIV test). Not fun. He's pretty sore tonight. I'm not sure that two days on the shooting range this week will make his shoulders feel any better!
Though I've got a convalescent husband, I'm a very happy girl tonight because for the first time in weeks I have INTERNET IN MY OWN HOME. Our "duplex" neighbors got home today and we were able to connect to their wireless connection *all of the angels sing HALLEUJIA* I actually got to study in the comfort of my own home tonight. Such a blessing. A person doesn't know how much they appreciate internet until they are without it. . .


So, I'll be catching up on recent events/pictures (the rest of the Alps trip, moving, Thanksgiving) in the coming week or so.

I want to give a VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU to the Gidlow family for allowing us to barge in on them, steal their internet, use their Skype, disrupt their family events and eat their food since we have moved in and been internetless. Tammi was instrumental in helping us with the move (and well they're the main reason we DID move to be quite frank - they're that cool and their kids are that cute/sweet/loveable!!!). We are very grateful and want to wish Dave & Tammi a HAPPY 18th ANNIVERSARY! We love, appreciate and are so proud of you guys and the incredible picture that you are to us and the rest of the military community of what a Christ-centered marriage is and the impact on the world you have when you make raising a godly family a top priority. We got to know Gidlows through a small group when we first got to the UK and have been blessed beyond words by the friendship the Lord has cultivated with such a special family.
