We got our first real serious snow last night.  I was actually kind of excited.  Not so much about taking 2 hours to drive 10 miles (though I know a lot of people who took 6-7 hrs to drive 5 miles --- NO JOKE!!!), but it was real, fluffy, heavy, snowman snow!  I went to bed reeeeeeeeeeeally hoping that school would be cancelled (normally I would never want class to be cxled because I know the cost of each lecture (works out to be about $250/each) but the last two weeks my stats prof has managed to circumnavigate us into complete confusion so I wasn't super excited about the prospect of two hours of that this morning.  I could see the writing on the wall at 10 pm last night when I peeked out the window and it had stopped snowing.  My hopes of Philip and I being snowed  in together about vanished.  This morning when I checked the GWU website, they were completely gone.  Well, school started late - but just in time for our class. . . so it doesn't really count.  If you don't personally benefit, there's really no benefit ----right????  (have I been in Washington too long???)

Average (good) week.  Very busy with school, work, church. . . just life (thus being a HORRIBLE blogger).  The most exciting news this week was a huge water main bursting at Andrews AFB on Monday.  They had to shut the base down, so Philip was home from work by 11 (I was at the hospital all day).  And do you know what my PRINCE CHARMING did?!?!?!?  I came home to a completely spic'n'span house.  I mean the boy even scrubbed the bathroom floor on his hands an knees.  I. adore. this. man.  He sure knows how to speak my love lanuguage :)

love him!!!!

This weekend should be fun.  I'm attending a lecture all morning on treatment of trauma/PTSD patients, Philip will meet me downtown and we'll have a study afternoon,  Sat pm having our first guests over to the Lere casa (!!!), Sunday having our small group over after church for lunch (baked potato bar) and then Sunday pm small group.  It should be grand.
