I love daylight savings in the fall. Seriously, one of my fav.o.rite. Sundays of the entire year. It was a very typical Sunday for the Leres: church, lunch, studying @ starbucks. My week schedule had been switched around a bit. Instead of working at o'dark thirty on Thursday and Friday, I had a home visit in Fredericksburg, VA on Monday night and then was at a pediatric palliative care conference yesterday. So, I did my usual Saturday workload when I during what is usually my Children's time on Thurs and Friday. I work to be as efficient with my time as possible in order to maximize the time Philip and I have together when he's home. The balance is not easy, but at least when you're super busy you're more efficient with your time. This week will be a bit closer to my usual schedule. I register for spring semester tomorrow at 7 am - craziness!
I am so ready for the semester to be over and SO EXCITED about Christmas. I love love love this time of year when the world starts to gear up for December 25th. Soon, Christmas music will be filling the airwaves during my commute. YAY. Cannot wait :)
It's wild to think about life a year ago. We were just moving into the condo. Philip had just gotten to DC. I hadn't started my job at Children's. I hadn't even finished my first semester of school (and now I'm soon half done!!!) It doesn't feel like THAT long ago but I feel like I've learned so much and so much has happened in the last 12 months that in many ways it feels forever ago.

Really? You like "falling back" with the time change? It takes my body forever to get used to it.
I didn't realize you already registered for next semester.
Yes, lots of things have happened since last November! You guys pack a lot into one year.
