Sorry I haven't been on here in ages. Yesterday Philip and I had a wonderful date in a local village, Bury St. Edmunds. They had a beautify Abbey garden that we meandered around. We walked around the shops and the outdoor market in the town square. I was very excited about enjoying some Starbucks. I had done the same thing last Saturday with my friend Suzie, so I decided that it would be great to get my strawberry fix (from the market) AND my Starbucks fix.
Today Philip & I went to church and I brought him to the airport afterwards. He's going to be spending two weeks at some training in Germany.
Right now I'm curled up on the couch enjoying season 4 of gray's anatomy (I broke down and ordered it for while Philip would be gone).

I've stepped into and out of many roles in my life. Daughter. Sister. Student. Friend. Student. Wife. Military Spouse. Student. Student. Researcher. Psychologist. Supervisor. A role doesn't define a person.
Our journey has been a winding road. One paved by uncertainty, sacrifice, pain, hope, disappointment, gratitude, goodbyes, tears, heartache, loss, faith, victory, and celebration. I am humbled beyond words to have walked this road alongside of the precious people who have become a part of our story. The people who have walked with us through choking difficulty and immense joy.
This story exists because of the Author and Perfecter of our faith. It is my humble prayer that the chronicle of our days speaks most loudly to the Reason we live and love the way that we do.
