prayer request: I just found out some quite distressing news from my friend Suzie. She's very prego, her husband has been away for most of the pregnancy and they are not sure if he'll be back for the birth. She's moved into another base house on her own and was in the final stages of selling their old house. She found out today that after 11 weeks of legal stuff (selling a house anywhere is stressful, selling a house ON YOUR OWN in a crazy country like this where you aren't native to real estate law is a freaking NIGHTMARE) the buyers pulled out for no apparent reason (they can do that in the UK until the money is actually transferred into the seller's bank account - it is MAD), so now she has to put the house back on the market and go through the whole process again. Not fun at all. She's been really sick lately on top of everything. When I found out I just felt SICK b/c they have to be paying mortgate payments on this house out of pocket until they find another buyer and this is just really not what a sick, doing-it-alone pregnant woman in a foreign country needs! Ah the life of a military wife. . .
Please pray for my sweet Suzie, the baby inside her tummy, her husband Jason and getting this crazy house sold ASAP.

Our journey has been a winding road. One paved by uncertainty, sacrifice, pain, hope, disappointment, gratitude, goodbyes, tears, heartache, loss, faith, victory, and celebration. I am humbled beyond words to have walked this road alongside of the precious people who have become a part of our story. The people who have walked with us through choking difficulty and immense joy.
This story exists because of the Author and Perfecter of our faith. It is my humble prayer that the chronicle of our days speaks most loudly to the Reason we live and love the way that we do.
