It's been a busy week, so I need to rewind to last Saturday. My friend Suzie and I made a trip to London to see "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof". It is a play written by Tennessee Williams - a playwright whose work I adore (I fell in love with it during my first theatre class at Northwestern my first semester freshman year. My favorite show is "Streetcar Named Desire" --- playing Blanche or Stella would be a dream role for me :) --- however when I saw Cat on a Hot Tin Roof was playing in London, I was very excited. The play featured part of the Broadway cast which included James Earl Jones and Phylicia Rashad ("Claire Huxtable" from another favorite of mine, "The Cosby Show"). Seeing these two very talented actors in person was absolutely incredible.
That's another thing off of my England bucket list!
