My birthday weekend started out wondefully.
Last night, we had our last Journey group night out. We went to a pub, The Walnut Tree, in Worlington. The evening was filled with really good food (salmon w/ pesto --- really good combo I would have never dreamed up) and loads of laughter. I'm really going to miss being "us" on Friday nights.
This morning I picked up my mother-in-law, Laura, and a family friend, Verna, at the underground station in Epping. We had a long trip home as we were parked on the motorway for an hour and a half due to an accident. We quick stopped by the house and then were out the door to Bury St. Edmunds to have some tea with some friends to celebrate birthdayness. It was a wonderful afternoon. Looking beautiful, lady! So happy some family could be there with you. This year, Trav's going to be deployed on his, Bella's and my birthday! Bummer...
