running out of steam

Nearing the end, but oh so weary. . .  I spent today studying with this group of lovely girls for what will be a very unpleasant exam we have on Monday morning:

The exhaustion started to really hit me last night.  I was like "nooo. . . I need to push through a little while longer!  not yet!!!"  Just about there. . .  (looking at this picture can you tell which one of these poor girls had to pull two consecutive all-nighters this last week?  seriously this grad school garbage is MADNESS!)  Some day we will look back at this and reminisce about the most fun we never want to have again in our lives.  Ever.

I still have a ton going on the next two weeks with patient work, an eating disorder training I'm giving (a need to prepare) on the 21st and lots of extra hours at the hospital but at least I won't have to be thinking as much about academic work.  I think the only person who is more excited for this semester/year to be over than me is my poor husband.  He's been such a trooper.  I'm so so so blessed.

Two consecutive all-nighters?? Ouch! I'm glad it wasn't you. Praying for you as near the finish line of the semester. Love, Mom

You and me both Joy, we both have troopers. I am so so so lucky to have Josh. These past few weeks have been really hard for me as well. Josh has been there for me every step of the way. Thank the Lord for men like Josh and Philip.
