White Christmas

A glimpse of our White Christmas 2011

Our time in CO has FLOWN BY.  Seriously unbelievable.  I'm still feeling pretty crashed and worn out even though we've had a pretty low key week.  I'm having a hard time believing that I just checked in for our flight tomorrow morning!  Yesterday Laura and I had our annual after-Christmas outlet store shopping extravaganza and then I went to a really posh spa to enjoy the wonderful gift Philip got me for Christmas (a 90 min massage and a special foot scrub treatment).  On our way home we encountered the realities of living in the mountains - we were 3 miles from home and the road was closed due to blowing wind.  Thankfully we were able to go to one of Laura's friends house and wait until they opened the road.  We're about to go out on a hike after the boys finish blowing snow and then will enjoy our last afternoon together [on the agenda is watching The Help and having dinner with some of Paul & Laura's friends (the ones who we dropped in on last night ;)]

If you get here quick, there might be a little bit of our inch or two of snow left for a White New Year's. Safe travels......see you soon.....
