day 6: a picture that makes you laugh
Love this picture. It was taken December 2008. My parents and brother traveled to England to spend Christmas with Philip and I. It was a wonderful time. Josh and I were very humored by the multitude of Asian tourists in Cambridge who seemed to almost always strike this pose for their pictures. We now coin it our "Asian Tourist Pose". I love this boy.
Another funny one. . .
Taken when we were dropping Josh off at Dordt this August.
You see, when I'm arround my parents, husband and/or brother, most of my social inhibitions disintegrate and I do and say really random, bogus things (or say some normal things but in some strange voices accompanied by random noises to freak them out)
I do things like randomly breaking out into song and dance.
Really I love doing it because I know it will entertain the three people above. They just shake their heads and laugh at disbelief at me. Usually we end up collapsing in laughter (pictured below). . . especially if I can get my brother to join in.
One more for the road. . .
I was not a very great big sister for a long time, but I'm so grateful for the awesome relationship and friendship I have with mi hermano today (and relieved that since he has gotten big enough to exact his revenge and "fight back" like my mother warned me about as I poked and proded him as an infant, that we've had a peaceful coexistence)

Ha, ha, you BOTH are clowns! Very lovable clowns. Yes, it's a very good thing you like your brother more now then you did when he arrived and invaded your space - almost 21 years ago - Yikes! You were a goofball that day we took Josh to Dordt. You look like you came from a land of no sun. Thanks for the smiles.
that's about 10% coming from the Land of No Sun and 90% inheriting dad's skin instead of yours. . . *sad face*
