I wrote a lot about my dad in my Easter post. While I don't want to sound all Freudian, the truth is that my relationship with my father deeply impacts so many foundational aspects of my life: leadership, family, marriage, church, salvation, grace. On this Father's Day I wish nothing more than to be with him to tell him face to face how much I love and appreciate the investment he made in my life. I'd take him to a pizza buffet at Godfather's and give him a bag of peanutbutter m & ms. I'm pretty sure that being a father is not an easy task when one embraces the call and full responsibility of the role. My dad did an outstanding job.
I love you, Daddy. I'll always be your baby girl.
