six weeks, not three
After some tears and much discussion it was decided that I need to stay and work as long as I possibly can this summer, so I'll be here six more weeks rather than three. I gave my notice at work today which went alright (I emailed the owner of the clinic right away on Saturday to keep her in the loop). Wow. I guess I can live in denial a bit longer. . . three weeks was feeling really fast. 8 August feels like quite a ways off still. . . .

Six weeks feels long but I'm for "healthy" goodbyes as you prepare to return to the US. I'm sorry we won't get to see you here in CO but we trust that you'll have the time you need to prepare for the move.
